Group Tours

Tour Policy

  • Groups tours, of the Polk County Museum in Rickreall and/or the Brunk Farmstead on Hwy 22, are available upon request.
  • School groups are generally limited to 60 students per site (Museum or Brunk Farmstead), with a ratio of one supervising adult per five students encouraged.
  • If the teacher has not visited the site previously, a site visit for familiarity and to discuss educational goals is recommended.
  • Supervising adults are to stay with student groups at all times.
  • No food or drink is allowed inside the Museum* or the Brunk House. No refreshments are provided.
  • *At the Museum, an indoor lunch break area with tables and chairs can be made available (Stafrin Room). If you prefer an outdoor picnic area near the Museum, Nesmith Park is adjacent to the Polk County Fairgrounds, just across our parking lot.
  • At the Brunk Farmstead, the lawn area is available for lunch break.
